Obituary of Cynthia "Cindy" Pozzo

It is with heavy hearts the family of Cindy Pozzo, announces her sudden passing at the Sault Area Hospital.

A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, she will be missed immensely by all those in her life.

Cindy has gone to join her father, Elio Pozzo. Devoted daughter of Josette Pozzo, and loving sister of John Pozzo (Shelley). Cindy was a cherished aunt to Darren Pozzo, Kerri O’Bumsawin Brule (Larry), Jasmyn Rowley (Joel) and Nylan Pozzo (Rachel) and a special great aunt to Kailey O’Bumsawin, Brooklyn O’Bumsawin, Kai Pozzo, Remington Rowley and Ryerson Rowley. 

Cindy’s kind and caring spirit will be incredibly missed by her many aunts, cousins and other loved ones.

Cindy had a heart full of love that she shared with everyone she met. She enjoyed listening to Irish country music, watching the latest curling bonspiel, and spending time with her family over many dinners shared together. 

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 12:30 p.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cindy’s memory to ARCH. 

The family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who was responsible for Cindy’s care at Sault Area Hospital, especially the attentive and compassionate ICU team. 

“If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart.

I’ll stay there forever.”
