Passed peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, surrounded by the love of family on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the age of 76. Wife of Leo for over 57 years. Mother of Frank (Debbie) of Sault Ste. Marie, Sandra (Steve) of Paris, Ontario and Burnley (Kelly) of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Grandmother of Danielle of Sault Ste. Marie, Christopher of Montreal, Maya, Jada and Jasmine of Paris, Cash, Marley and Seth of Halifax. Daughter of the late Tom and Margaret Skouris of Hawk Junction. Sister of Isabelle Wilson (Bill) of Sault Ste. Marie. Predeceased by her sisters Alice Mann (late Edward), Anne Tremblay (late Fern), Norma Sherlock (late Earnest), Jean Tauriainen (Karlos), and her brothers Bill (Madeleine), Alfred (Barbara), John (late Fernande), Peter and David. Best friend of Barb Agonis and Fran Heath. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 12:00 noon until time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Memorial donations to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated. A special thank you to the Doctors and staff at the Sault Area Hospital.
