Obituary of Shane Harnden

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Shane on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the age of 45. Cherished son of Ron (Lora) and the late Christine Bernardi-Harnden and stepson of Christine Levesque-Harnden. Much loved brother of Chad (Lynne), Jeffrey, Kayleigh and the late Kaycee. Uncle of Braedon and Madison. Beloved Grandson of his favourite Nana, Lillian Harnden (late Albert). Shane will be fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Shane had many treasured friends near and far. He had a heart of gold, a smile you’d never forget and a sense of humour that could take you by surprise. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and loved every minute at his “Happy Place” which was his camp at Rock Lake. He cherished the memories of “the days” of AAA hockey, baseball, football and snowboarding. Friends and family are invited to a Come and Go Celebration of Shaq’s life at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations made to the Spinal Cord Injury Ontario (SCI Ontario) Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated.
