It is with great sadness that the family of Geneva Dewar announce her peaceful passing on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the F.J. Davey Home. Born February 16, 1918 to the late Peter and Clarissa (Ladoucer) Dunn in Thessalon, Ontario. Cherished wife of the late Lloyd Dewar. Very loving mother of Peter (Gayle), Lloyd (Gillian) of Keswick, Ontario, Debbie Barsanti (Fred), Brian (late Sherry) of Thornton, Ontario and Valerie Maich (Michael). Adored grandmother of Mark (Lori), Derek (Kim), Scott (Chrissy), Jeff, Brock (Sandra), Aaron Barsanti (Catherine), Clint (Amanda), Kylee Slobodecki (Ryan Walker), Brad, Tyler Slobodecki and great grandmother of 16. Dear sister of Frank (Anne) and predeceased by John (late Laurene), Bill (late Ruby), Bert (late Elaine), Azilda, Magna (late Fred) and brothers-in-law Crawford (late Babe) and Roy (late Madge). Daughter-in-law of the late Peter and Nellie (Ellis) Dewar. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 742 Third Line East on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, F.J. Davey Home, or a charity of your choice. A very special thank you to the dedicated nurses, PSWs, and staff at the F.J. Davey Home on Driftwood One. The gentle care and respect that you gave to our mother is truly appreciated by her family. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
