PETERS, Hans “George” – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of George at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at the age of 74. Cherished husband of Helga Peters for 42 years. Loved father of Silvana Caruso (Tony) and Oliver Tetzlaff (Mary Ann). Opi of Zalona Caruso-Graham (Mark), Danita Caruso, Justin Tetzlaff and Jaden Tetzlaff. Great Opi of Chance Caruso and Levina Graham. Dear brother of Detlef Peters and the late Helga Graham. George will be missed by his nieces and nephews in both Canada and Germany; Debbie Graham, Caroline Graham, Jennifer Graham and Cordula Waschki. Brother-in-law of Christel Lende. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Unit would be appreciated by the family. A private family service has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-345-7758). Special thank you to the SAH Cancer clinic and third floor C staff for the care and compassion shown to George and our family.
