Obituary of Laura Longo

Peacefully passed away at Extendicare Maple View on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Emilio. Cherished mother of Joe (Wanda), Linda, Anna and Gerri (Jane). Proud grandmother of Emile Longo (Isabelle), Ryan Longo (Paula), Kelin Longo (Victoria), Fiona Longo, Olivia Longo, Dawson Amaral and Tristen Amaral. Great grandmother of Laura, Elsie and Logan Longo. Predeceased by her parents Angelo and Adriana Caputo. Sister of Nicola Caputo (Antonia) and predeceased by Maria Azzinara (Francesco), Rosina Buffa (Guiseppe), Demetrio (Leanore), Vincenzina Provenzano (Silverio), Clothidia Guagliardi (Cosmos) and Adriano Caputo. Predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Guiseppe and Angela Longo. Sister-in-law of Antonetta Sica (Joe), Gina Zimbaro (Armando) and Frank (Elena) and predeceased by Maria Longo (Nicola), Raffela Scaglione (Annuziato), Luigi (Annunziata), Genio (Maria) and Demetrio (Maria). Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 12:00 noon with Father Eric Pannike officiating. Memorial donations to St. Vincent Place or the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to her neighbour and friend, Amalia Sanguinetti and her niece Anna Longo.
