Obituary of Christine Luhtanen

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christine at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, January 20, 2020 at the age of 66. Loving mother of Patricia Porco (Steve) and Nicholas Luhtanen. Proud grandmother of Tyler Maltman and Emily Porco. Beloved daughter of Aljesa and the late Fred Michaud. Cherished sister of Steve Michaud (Susan), late Bill Michaud, Margaret Strom (Eric) and Jim Michaud (Patricia). Granddaughter of the late Mary and late Ralph Oliverio. Respected Godmother of Robert, Colleen and Mariah. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Christine will be remembered through her selfless acts of kindness to others and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gerard Majella Church on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
