Obituary of Betty Mae Palmer

With heavy hearts, we announce that our dear Betty passed away at home on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the age of 68 years. Loving mother of Christopher Palmer (Dahila). Predeceased by her parents Peter and Elizabeth Smith. Dear sister of Bernie Winter (late Pete), Bunny Smith, Shauna Pigeon, John Karalash (Verna) and Al Smith (Cooki). Aunt and Great Aunt of many nieces and nephews whom she loved and cherished. Betty would light up with the greatest smile when family and friends were present. At Betty’s request, no funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Betty’s life at 346 Old Garden River Rd on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. where we can all say a final goodbye. Memorial donations to ARCH would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
