Obituary of Francesco Chiarello

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Francesco Chiarello at the F.J. Davey Home on Saturday, March 21, 2020 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Ida Chiarello (nee Medaglia) for 62 years. Dear father of Gus (Roberta), Antonia Uschenko, Michael (Colette), Franca Vetor (Shain) and Dani. Adored Nonno of Jamie, Jessica, Mathieu, Daniel & Andrew. Son of the late Giuseppe and Antonia Chiarello. Brother of the late Antonio (Caterina), Gaetano (Barbara), Carmen (Maria) and Arturo (Ida). Son-in-law of the late Antonio and Carmela Medaglia. Brother-in-law of the late Francesco (Francesca) Medaglia, Mirella Falcone (Settimio), Sam Medaglia (Mariolina), Fiorina Spadafora (Frank), Rosemary Proulx (Albert), late Ottorino, late Eugenio (Rosa), Ernesto (late Rosina) and the late Maria (Attilio). Francesco will be missed by his family, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A private family gathering was held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758). Memorial donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to all the help and compassion he received from the staff on 3B at the Sault Area Hospital and at the F.J. Davey Home.
