Obituary of Kelly Buller
Peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2020, with his “Village” of people by his side. My dear husband, Daddy-O, respected colleague, beloved cousin and Uncle and more importantly, Fierce Friend, finished his battle and ended his long journey.
Kelly leaves behind his wife Lynn, his “daughter” Tori, his cherished niece L’il Kelly (Alan) and nephew Zach. Brother-in-law of JeanMarc. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Joe Buller and his sister Joanne. Kelly’s warmth and positivity brought so much love into Lynn’s family.
Thank you to Dr. Silvana Spadafora and her team for giving us a precious gift, the gift of more time as well as Kelly’s team in Sudbury, Dr. Pearce and Dr. Ishak. To Dr. Nikki Apostle whose sincere compassion and thoughtfulness made us feel like we were her only patient. Our Homecare Nurses respectfully “Nurse Gorgeous” and “Nurse Awesomeness”, no words needed. To my “Village” of people for their emotional, unwavering, dedicated support, being there for me but more importantly for their fierce friend, Kelly. To the Pine Island community, a small community with the biggest hearts. Making sure that none of us went hungry with continuous gourmet hot meals. Lastly, to my family and friends for all their calls, texts and messages, even if it was a single heart or word, it spoke volumes.
Understanding why this relentless disease takes our most precious loved ones is beyond me. I guess God needed another Artist and all-round sweetheart of a guy to play a round of golf on the ultimate Master, of all master courses, I’m hoping Arnie will join in.
You get only one chance at being the person you want to be. Being kind and compassionate and having a work ethic like no other, Kelly was that person. To quote a colleague “Such a wonderful person. His talent and zest for life will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him”.
Finally, after 2 long years, we are able to celebrate all the great and wonderful memories Kelly has shared with us over the years.
Join us on Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Crimson Ridge, under the tent, to raise a glass and toast our friend, colleague, and amazing one of a kind guy, who I was lucky enough to call my husband.
Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
