Peacefully passed with dignity and grace at home with family by her side on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the age of 98. We were blessed and will fondly remember her sense of humour, laughter, stories of her life in Italy, her wisdom, her abounding selflessness and her desire and way of making everything “nice-nice.” Beloved wife of the late Angelo. Loving mother to her sons Emilio (Gina), Carmen (Debbie), Gus Sr. (Colleen) and Frank (Debbie). Cherished Nanna to her grandchildren Rose McCaig (Derrick) of Oxford, Michigan and Maria Teresa Melchiorre (Dominic) of Pickering, Ontario, Marc Muto (Elisa), Michael Muto (Lori) and Jenn, Chelsea, Brandon, Nathan Muto (Alyssa), Joël Muto and Gus Muto, Nicole Muto (Christopher Guy) of Milton, Ontario, Mary Ann Muto and Dachlin MacWilliam (Andrea) of London, Ontario and treasured Nanna to her great grandchildren Daniel Emilio Melchiorre and Alyssa Rose Melchiorre, Mikhal Muto, Carmen Muto and Wyatt Mageran, Alyx and Emmah Carbone and Caellum MacWilliam. Daughter of the late Pasquale & Carmela Lepore. Sister of the late Rosina Muto (late Angelo), late Carmine Lepore (late Carmela), late Antonio Lepore (late Fortunata), late Francesca Bernardo (late Giuseppe) and late Francesco Lepore (Iolanda) all of Italy. Daughter-in-law of the late Carmine and Antonia Muto. Sister-in-law of the late Antonio (late Rosina), late Pasquale (late Maria Rosaria), late Eugenio (late Rosina), late Giovanni (late Leondina), late Maria Bernardo (late Francesco), late Francesca Coccimiglio (late Pasquale) and the late Erminia Coccimiglio (late Giuseppe) all of Italy. She was a special Zia, whom will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her best friend Luigina Barnardo. A private family service has been held. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to St. Gregory’s Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to Dr. Edwards and Dr. Wilson for their care and compassion and to her nurse, Jessica Jancke and primary Personal Support Worker, Sara for their special care.
