Obituary of Maria Fata

Passed away peacefully at the FJ Davey Home on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Michele Fata. Loving mother of Francis Fata (Denise Samson-Nadeau), Lidia Italia and the late Tullio Fata. Cherished grandmother of Fabiana Italia. Daughter of the late Emilia (Longo) and the late Luigi Sconza Fucile. Sister of the late Domenic Sconza Fucile (Francesca) and the late Linda Giglio (late Antonio) of France. Daughter-in-law of the late Luigi Fata and the late Carmela (Pino) of Italy. Sister-in-law of the late Francesco Fata (late Carmela) of Italy, Late Pasquale Fata (late Carmina) of Italy and Rosaria Pino (late Antonio) of France. Due to the current circumstances and at Maria’s request, a private service was held. Memorial donations to the FJ Davey Home Foundation, SAH Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to express and extend their heartfelt appreciation and sincere thanks to all the staff at the FJ Davey Home (2nd floor Cedar Grove) for their outstanding efforts, support, care and compassion shown to Maria and her family over the last 3 ½ years.
