Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Sunday, April 26, 2020 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Norman Lion. Dear mother of Kathleen Power (David Devoe), and sadly missed by Norman’s children Melanie Boyce, Wayne Lion (Esther), Gail Maich (Gerald), Garry Lion (Ana) and Murray Lion. Grandmother of Julia, Alison and Laura. Daughter of the late Minerva and Neil McQuarrie. Sister of Shirley Scott (Tom), Ron McQuarrie (Joanne), Ruth Marshall (late Charles), and the late Ken McQuarrie (late Hazel). Marjorie will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
At Marjorie’s request there will be no service. Memorial contributions to the F.J. Davey Home Foundation would be appreciated. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the F.J. Davey Home for the amazing care Marjorie received as a resident for several years. Arrangements entrusted to the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758).
