Obituary of Lina Richichi
Please share a memory of Lina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Peacefully, on May 29, 2020 our beautiful mother was reunited with her soulmate and beloved husband for eternity and is now our special guardian angel.
Predeceased by her devoted husband of 63 years Giovannino in 2016.
Forever loved by her daughter Silvana Gioia (Eugene), and sons Carmine ( Susan) and Domenic ( Rita). Cherished Nonna of Giancarlo Gioia (Stephani), Jamie Gioia (Melissa), Christina Cristillo (Robert), John (Joanna), and Marc (Corrina). Caring Chi-chi Nonna of Olivia, Tristan, Ava, Carter, Preston, Jaxson, Patrick and Anthony.
Dear sister of Rita Maione (late Giovanni) and loving Zia of Dr. Peter Maione (Joanne), and Angela Vairo (Frank) of Sault Ste. Marie. Survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews in Southern Ontario and Italy.
Mom was the heart of our family. Her home was her castle and her family was her greatest joy. She was most happy when surrounded by a gathering of the family for a special celebration or just to enjoy a home cooked meal prepared with loving hands. Her talent for creating knitted and crocheted gifts for the family will always be treasured. As a caring, humble and gentle person of inner strength and faith, Lina was a role model of love and generosity for all.
