Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Krmpotich. With his wife by his side, Bob passed peacefully on June 16, 2020 at the age of 78. Cherished husband and best friend of Mary Anne for 53 years. Devoted and loving father of Stephanie Fera (Norm) and Carla Ficociello (Steve). Proud and fun-loving Dede to Brendan Fera, Christina Fera and Noah Ficociello. Predeceased by his parents Davorin “Martin” Krmpotich and Zora “Rose” Stillin. Brother of Ron Krmpotich (Vi), Marty Pavelich (late Marjorie) of Big Sky Montana, Matt Pavelich (Dragica) of Windsor. Predeceased by sisters Dorothy Trudell (Larry) (David Thorp) and Marg Lucas (Andy). Brother-in-law of Jack Denneny (Sherry), Bob Denneny (Marcella), and Bill Denneny (Gloria). Bob will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews who always put a smile on his face. Bob was a hardworking and loyal man who enjoyed a 32-year career in the Roll Shop at Algoma Steel. Throughout his adult life and especially during his 22 years of retirement, Bob spent much of his time at his happy place (Horseshoe Bay). He enjoyed putting on a large addition to the family cottage, woodworking, and travelling. He was a loyal Soo Greyhounds fan and never missed his grandsons’ hockey games. Bob enjoyed trips to Portugal, Croatia and Florida. A very special thank you to Jack Denneny for your weekly luncheons and to Sarah and Ron Bailey for your daily check-ins. A private funeral will be held due to Covid-19 restrictions. A big thank you to his nurses, PSW’s, and Kirby Beadle for helping to keep him in the comfort of his own home as long as possible. A sincere thank you to the special staff on Apple Orchard Level 3 of the Davey Home for your professional, loving, and exceptional care. The kindness and love you gave our dad will never be forgotten. Memorial Contributions can be made to ARCH. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
