Obituary of Filomena Cicino
Please share a memory of Filomena to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
After a long and courageous battle, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, Filomena Cicino (Felicella) on August 9th, 2020 surrounded by the love of her children. Wife of the late Gennaro Cicino. Cherished mother of Sandra Irving (Garry), Luisa Bourgoin (Marc), Ernesto “Ernie” Cicino (Lorie), Toni Cicino-Solomon (Jason).
She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Samantha Irving, Naomi Bourgoin (Devin), Myra Perin (Kody), Nathan Bourgoin (Ellie) and Evan Solomon (who will miss Nonna's pasta fagioli). Bis Nonna to Sequoya Bourgoin-Napierkoski.
She will be greatly missed by several very close friends.
A very special thank you to the elite team at the SAH Cancer Clinic, Dr. Hill, Dr. Wilson, Elisha and Mike from Para Med. We are forever grateful for the excellent care given to our mother.
To our sister Toni. You were Mom's and our angel on her most difficult days. With your care, compassion and knowledge you made Mom's final days comfortable and peaceful. You definitely chose the right career.
To our adoring and very patient brother Ernie and his wife Lorie, who spent endless days with Mom taking her on outings to keep her spirits up and preparing any meals she desired. You both filled her days with new adventures and happiness.
To our sister Sandra, for ensuring that mom always had her needs met whether it was her medications or the abundance of creams and lotions.
To our sister Luisa, for ensuring that mom made her appointments every single day and assisted Toni in every aspects of the way in the care of our mom. She was and is our "go to" sister.
