Obituary of Manfred Reinholtz

With broken hearts we are saddened to announce the tragic passing of Manfred Reinholtz on Saturday, September 26, 2020. Husband and best friend of Debi. Proud father of Mitchell, Drew and the late Lisa. Adored by “his girls” Angela and Chelsea. Loving son of Theresa Reinholtz (late Paul). Brother and #1 fan of Lori Reinholtz (Dave Brechin). Son-in-law of the late Ian and the late Biz Presgrave. Left with decades of fond and colourful memories are Jim and Joanne Presgrave, Bill and Heather Presgrave, Vicki Pine and his many nieces and nephews. Manny’s final hours were spent doing what he loved, fishing with his boys. Manny was a fishing buddy, hunting partner, stay at home defenceman and always up for a morning tee off. He lived a life full of fun, adventure and love; from playing professional hockey in Germany to enjoying every minute on Heyden Lake. The family would like to thank Blackcreek Outfitters and everyone from Peshu Lake Road who came together to help in our time of need. Special thanks to Debi’s angels, Kelly and Steve Booth and those who have reached out to comfort the family. Manny never hesitated to give flowers; however, his memory would be best honoured through donations to the Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund. A private service will be held for family and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Until then, crank the music and raise a glass.
