To the ultimate James Street negotiator and salesperson, who along with his 4 siblings worked hard through challenging times and humble beginnings. Thank-you uncle for all the great memories growing up and for being a positive impact on my life. I remember the times at your store fitting me with hockey skates to sharing old hockey stories in your basement with my dad. The store memories of uncle Joe drilling bowling balls, other uncle Joe engraving trophies, auntie Rosie making trophies, and the rest of the relatives just hanging out. Apparently working, fitting shoes I believe. These memories I hold true to my heart. What wonderful times they were! You taught me to love sports by providing opportunities and never forcing children into playing the game. Creating lifelong fans was the true goal. Thank you for making me believe that perseverance pays off. Have fun looking down on us now. Your presence will be missed.

Angelo, Godfather to my husband Vince. We will always remember him as such a loving and kind man. When you think of Angelo, you cannot help but think of the Soo Greyhounds. He was such an integral part of the hockey world. Angelo touched the lives of so many people and was loved many. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. Sending you healing energy and love and our heartfelt sympathy. Love Vince and Darlene Marinelli xo

Angelo and my mother Margaret Vanderburg worked together when the Soo Greyhounds became an OHL team. When visiting my mum at the office he would always wave and say hello. May you find comfort in the many memories and the many lives that Angelo has touched. Kim McConnell (Vanderburg)

Angelo,
Are the words I will miss your friendship enough, as an expression of my feelings for you? To a man who has been a part of my life for almost 50 years now. First when I was a very young man you were a respected friend and business partner of my father. Then as a teenager a friend of your family and constant around the Greyhound Office. Then as a young adult you were a fair and compassionate employer. Then our relationship grew to a Business partner and personal confidant. To finally as a friend. I am so grateful for the time I was fortunate enough to spend with you over the years and throughout my life.
I will try to follow your example of being community minded, fair and compassionate and to take interests in others.

Our sincere condolences to the Bumbacco Family.
I have so many fond memories of Angelo while working for him and Joe at Bumbacco Sports. He was always a kind and fair man with a great sense of humor. So many hockey stories to tell, much to the delight of all staff there. I was privileged enough to attend family weddings, events and get to know all the Bumbacco families and for that I am truly grateful.
Angelo, you will be missed but never forgotten.

To the Bumbacco family. Sending my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I remember meeting Angelo my very first year as a Soo Greyhound back in 1988. When I met him, I instantly knew I liked him and he was somebody that you could trust and somebody that commanded respect. As a young kid leaving home for the first time and looking for guidance and knowledge Angelo was always there for me. He always had a story and I could listen to them forever. Angelo was a great hockey man but even a better person. He will certainly be missed.

He was always someone I felt I could confide in and trust.I have many fond memories of the times we met and when our teams played against each other.
