Obituary of Diana McNichol
Please share a memory of Diana to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with broken hearts we regret to announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Diana Lynn McNichol. We take comfort in knowing that Diana was able to pass in her home with her family by her side on Friday, October 30, 2020. Best friend, wife and soulmate of 41 years to Peter McNichol. Forever loving mother to Jessica Boniferro (Nathaniel) and Kyle McNichol (Kailyn). Devoted and caring grandma to Harper and Owen Boniferro and Knox McNichol who were the light of her life. Diana was overjoyed with the recent news that Kyle and Kailyn are expecting a little girl this spring and her middle name will be Diana. Daughter of H.G (Don) and Bernie Wright. Sister of John Wright (Sharon) and Bruce Wright (Cristina). Daughter- in-law of the late Edith and Jim McNichol. Sister- in-law of Jackie Switzer (late Robert), Leslie Willson (Bruce) and Paul McNichol (Verna). Special aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Due to the current pandemic there is a maximum attendance restriction of 40 attendees in the Funeral Home at one time. Mandatory for everyone is the use of hand sanitizer, masks or face coverings and physical distancing of 2 meters unless members of the same household. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Special thanks to the SAH 3B nursing staff Sandy, Allison, Grace, Katie, Reggie, Diane, Lyndsay and Tristina. Thank you to Dr. Fera, Dr. Booth, Dr. Bowen and Dr. Voutsadakis. Your care and compassion for Diana during this difficult time was greatly appreciated.
Diana was my soulmate, she can never be replaced, she will never be forgotten and today a part of me has died too.
Love always,
Peter
