Obituary of Andreas Bowier

We are deeply saddened by the death of Andreas who passed away on Saturday, December 12 with his wife Rose, son Ron and Marianne and Stefan at his side. Beloved husband and best friend of Rose for 70 years. Andreas was born in Yugoslavia in 1930 to the late Stefan and the late Eva. He and Rose immigrated to Canada in 1951. He was the loved and adored father of Ron (Marianne) and Mary Morrison (Richard) of Orangeville. Cherished Papa of Stefan, Deahdra (Harry) of Santa Cruz, California and Mackenzie of Orangeville. Brother of Frank (late Theresa) of Guelph. Andreas was a family man, devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. When he wasn’t enjoying his family or keeping a meticulous home and yard, he could be found on a lake fishing. He was a kind and gentle man. As per Andreas’s wishes there will be no service. Cremation will take place. If you wish, memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice. A special thank you to the many doctors and nurses of SAH Emergency, 2A, 3B, 3C and ICU for the care given to Andreas. God saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so he closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be thine”.
