Obituary of Leonard Marcinkowski
Please share a memory of Leonard to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with profound sadness that Kyle announces the unexpected passing of his beloved father, Leonard, on Monday, January 11, 2021 in his 69th year. Left also to mourn his loss are his siblings Martina (Ted), Victor (Chris), Gary (Colleen) and stepbrother Steven Smith. “Uncle Leo” of Jessica, Nick, Jake, Stephanie, Tara, Sebastian and Tyson. Predeceased by his parents Karol and Shirley and his sister Susan. Leo was a person of great strength and determination and could succeed at any challenge that came his way. There was nothing he could not repair and had a talent for doing so explaining to others along the way to pass on his knowledge. Leo had a generous heart and was more than willing to assist anyone who needed his help. Being a father was Leo’s proudest role in life. His greatest joy came from the endless hours spent watching Kyle participate in hockey and football. As per Leo’s wishes, no services will take place. A special thank you to Mark Muto for your friendship and concern for Dad. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
“Just one more time, I wish I could hear your voice. Unfortunately, life hasn’t given me that choice. I feel lost and dazed. In our memories, I seek solace. Dad, your hugs will forever be my happy place…RIP.”
