Obituary of Adrianna Michelina Maris Rice
Please share a memory of Adrianna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Adrianna at her home on February 17, 2021 at the young age of 28. Adrianna (AD to those who knew her) loved anything that sparkled. She was amazing with makeup and had anartistic eye. She preferred designer items of course and giant handbags. She loved a comfy warm hoodie and sweats too and never without her flip flops. She was definitely a beauty, both inside and out. She loved junk food especially mozza sticks and she loved Al's lasagna. She even had her own specialty dish, Pasta Adrianna. Most of all she loved us. She was open arms for anyone who needed a friend and was first in line to help. The kind of granddaughter that showed up to mop her Nonna's floors when Nonna broke her arm. She adored them calling every day to see how they were doing. Her spot at the table was always between her mother and her Nonna. She would often share a beer with Nonno on the couch. So many happy times with her cousins at family gatherings. We have come to learn that she was soooo appreciated by her neighbours, sharing her food and her toilet paper.
Adrianna was the daughter of Michele and Al Pighin and Jack Rice. Sister to Stephanie Pinder (Tyler) and to her brother Mason Rice. Zizi Adrianna to her nephews Rylee and Avery Buckner. She will never be forgotten by her best friend and Nonna Antonietta Foglia and predeceased by her Nonno Carmine Foglia. Loved greatly by her Zizis, Maria Foglia, Anna and Jose Temporao, Sam and Jennifer Foglia and Christine and Matt Irving. Older cousin to Seleena and Marlena Temporao, Nadia and Nicholas Foglia and Sophia and Matteo Irving. Step Granddaughter to Emily Pighin (late Achille) and step sister to Addison Pighin (Cianna, Ella and Ivy) and Devyn Pighin. She was a very special friend to Victor Duffield. Adrianna was an amazing woman with a very generous, giving heart. A life too short for those that knew her and loved her beyond anything that these words can express. She is already playing tricks on the family and we are finding dimes everywhere. We take comfort in knowing she is happy, healthy, and free of pain and medication. Do not RIP my love, come, and visit whenever you want, mummy will always be ready with open arms. There will be a private family service at Northwood Funeral Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758). A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Ifyou wish to honour her memory, please donate to the charity of your choice. Enjoy heaven sweet angel, till we meet again.
