Obituary of Camillo Longo
Please share a memory of Camillo to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Camillo Longo at the age of 91. He is now reunited with his loving devoted wife of over 65 years, Rosa Longo. Dearest father to Jerry (Nadia) and Anne Seaton (Robert Nelli) (late Gary). A proud Nonno to Carina O’Connor (Zak), Justin Longo (Leah), Danielle Dias (Matt) and Kristen Seaton (fiancé Jake McClelland). His great grandchildren, Keira and Valerie O’Connor and Olivia and Emma Dias, would always bring a smile to his face.
Camillo was the eldest son of Genarro and Anna Longo of Italy and the oldest sibling to 10 brothers and sisters from France and Italy. He leaves fond memories with many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
Camillo left Italy in 1967 bringing his family to Canada for a better life. He is remembered by many for his pranks and his love to make people laugh. He enjoyed working in his garden, eating a large, delicious dish of pasta and meatballs made by his wife and had a great love for dessert.

The family is forever grateful to the staff on second floor Apple at the Davey Home. You became his new found family during a difficult pandemic year. A special thank you to Barry for the numerous Elmer Fudd haircuts you took the time to give to our father. You were a special companion to him as well as many other of your co workers. We cannot thank you enough for the great care and compassion you showed our father.
