Obituary of Dan Claridge

Passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Extendicare Maple View. He is now reunited with his beloved wife Nancy. Loved father and friend of Christine Brunet (Rob Giovagnoli) and Andrew Claridge (Milyka Hawdon). Proud grandfather of Kendra Claridge-Lavigne, Forrest Brunet, Austin Brunet and Delaney Claridge. Great grandfather of Nolan Brunet and Elijah Daniel Brunet. Dear brother of David George Claridge (Genn). Predeceased by his parents Mary Jelly and Harry Claridge. Dan was a man that loved to love and share his infectious smile, and “classic” dance moves. He radiated joy in his life and his children thank the many support workers at Maple View for bringing their father so much joy, love and security the past three years. He truly loved his new home, and we are so very thankful for all of the Maple View family. Dan will be missed every day by the many people his life and love have touched. May he now rest in the loving arms of his wife as they continue their journey. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Maple View Resident’s Council would be greatly appreciated.
