Obituary of Lila Louise Clock

Jesus opened the door for Lila on Friday, April 30, 2021. She had been eagerly awaiting this day! Lila was the loving spouse of Albert V. Clock, for 43 years, who predeceased her in 1991. Loving daughter born to John and Amanda Moul, on February 06, 1928, in California. Beloved sister of Callie (John) Bartholomew, Bonnie Moul, Lilian (Winthrop) Hoyle, and Bettie (Eugene) Siemer. Lila is now joyfully reunited with all of these dear ones in Glory except for those who remain, Lilian and Eugene, who have lovingly cared for her and supported her. Dearest Mother, Mentor and Friend of Stephen (Arlene) Clock, Alice (Rick) McLeod, and Rebecca (Phillip) Carlson. Devoted Grandmother of their children Amanda (Mark), Stephanie (Karl); Loralie (Seth), Valerie (Tony) Caleb (Elisabeth), Carolyn, Nathan (Kassey), Elizabeth (Jose), Alexander (Michelle),Jessica (Ivan), Grace M., Daniel (Pam), Timothy, Jonathan, and, Joshua (Brianna). Precious Great-grandmother of 38 cherished great-grand children who each received a $5 token of her love in their birthday cards. Lila leaves to mourn her passing many nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart. Also mourning her loss is her daughter-in-Christ, Joan Jolliffe. So too, are many of her church family who have prayed her Home to Jesus and blessed us as well with their many prayers, expressions of love and support, especially through Mama’s difficult last days. We cannot adequately express our love and thanks to the staff and care-givers at MapleView Extendicare who tenderly loved on our Mama as she prepared to leave us. Her coffee cup (and ours) was never empty! Our hearts are full of thanks to you all. A private family service will be held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre(942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758). In lieu of flowers, if you wish to make a donation in Mama’s memory, please donate to a Christian charity of your choice. She supported many. The two closest to her heart were: Northland Bible Chapel in Goulais River, Ontario, which she co-founded with our father in 1968, and Ethnos Canada, where Tracey Bernard one of her former students and a dear friend has served for many years.
