It is with great sadness, that the family of Lydia McGuire announces the passing of their beloved matriarch on Monday, May 3, 2021 in her 85th year. She is now reunited with her loving husband, Wally. Mother of Arlene McGuire, Debbie Clement (Fred), Sherri Letcher (Blaine) and Wallace McGuire (late Joy). Proud grandmother of Brad (Laura), Deanna, Jamie (Stephanie), Brandon, Kyle (Carly) and Jessica. Great grandmother of three. Predeceased by her two sisters and one brother. Lydia will be remembered by her sister-in-law Nellie Prenol. A special shoutout to her grandpuppy, Dexter whom she had a special bond with. At Lydia’s request, no services will be held. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie or Meals on Wheels would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to Father Francis Ezenzi of North Bay and Laura Fryia for their guidance through mom’s journey. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
