Angela was born in Aiello, Calabro Italy in 1937. She bravely emigrated to Canada as a young woman where she married and began her life in Sault Ste. Marie. Angela was an amazing cook and baker who took pride in every meal she made for her large family. Everyone was welcome at her table. Angela, known as Angie to her patrons, was a short order cook whose patrons loved every meal she served. Angela loved her flower and vegetable gardens. Her gardens were her sanctuary and spent countless hours tending to them. She volunteered for many years at St. Veronica Church. Her church was very important to her as she was a very devout Roman Catholic. She also volunteered for the Heart and Stroke and Kidney Foundations as a canvasser for many years.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to ARCH, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. A very special thank you to Dr. Apostle, nurses Holly, Brenda, Rose, pharmacist Jon and Diana from Home Instead.
Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
Mom you will forever live on in our hearts and be remembered by her kind and compassionate spirit.
