Obituary of Jennifer Jones

(December 19, 1949 – May 19, 2021) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Jennifer Jones at the age of 71, surrounded by the love of her children, Anna and Tom holding her hand at The Algoma Residential Community Hospice.

She is now reunited with her beloved husband, John Wishart, and her loving parents, Ownie and Lois Jones. Loving Mother of Anna Wilkinson (Paul), Tom Ferragini (Amy), John Ferragini, Bob Ferragini, and the late Leonard Ferragini Jr. Predeceased by her husband Leonard Ferragini Sr. Cherished Grandma of Emily and Leo Wilkinson, Thomas and Julian Ferragini, Nicole Young (Tony), Caiser Ferragini and Shannon Legge. Great Grandma of four. Loving sister of Dennis Jones (Donna), Susan Chanda (Bob), Terry Jones, John Jones (Gisele), and Brian Jones (Traci). Loving Aunt, niece, and cousin to many.

Our Mother devoted her life to taking care of her loved ones. It was the greatest gift for us to be able to take care of her during her final weeks. She grew up with a large family and was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. We will cherish those memories with her forever.

A private family graveside service will be held. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758). Memorial donations to ARCH or Mountainview Baptist Church, Goulais River would be appreciated by the family.

The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the many doctors, nurses, and Community Care Staff for the compassionate care provided to our mother and to all who prayed for her.
