It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, surrounded by her family at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Thursday, June 17, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Mario (2015) for 76 years. Dear mother of Lora Salvalaggio (Pat), Daniela Sutor (Stan) and Nadia Bruni (Sergio). Loved Noni/Nona of Patrick Salvalaggio (Terry), Laurie Cavaliere (Carmen), Andrea Bruni (Paul Stinnett), Kristine Beith (Dan), Ashleigh Meraki, Michael Sutor (Francine), Matthew Sutor (Meredith) and the late Stephanie Salvalaggio. Great Noni of Dominic and Nicholas Cavaliere, Elle and Julian Morris and Jordan and Drew Beith. Predeceased by her siblings Bruno, Elsa, Guido and Ada. Antonia will be missed by her brother-in-law Benito DaDalt (Audrey) of Sault Ste. Marie and sister-in-law Paola DeLuca of Italy. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Thank you to Dina, Norma and Maria for the many years of friendship.

 

A private family service will be held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758). Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Those who wish to attend the entombment are invited to arrive at Northwood Funeral Home on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 12:15 p.m. and park in procession, please remain in your vehicles upon arrival. The cemetery can accommodate up to 50 attendees and masks are mandatory with social distancing of 6 feet. Memorial donations to ARCH would be greatly appreciated by the family. A special thank you to Dr. Wilson, Dr. Jenkins, the staff at ARCH and the 2nd floor Ranger Lake at Maple View for their care and compassion shown to Antonia and her family.
