Obituary of Arthur E. Paradis

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, July 23, 2021, at the age of 92. He is now reunited with his beloved Wife Rita of 67 years. Cherished Father of Paulette Porco (Nick), Susan Campbell (late Les), Denis (late Lisa) and Mark (Lori). Adored Papa of Frank Porco (Jennifer), Laurie Alfano (Enzo), Steve Porco (Trish), Mitchell Paradis (Ida Marie), Sean (Lisa Maki) and Shelley Campbell, Melody Zalewski (Alex) and Erik Paradis (Jenna Prisel). Papa 2 of Nicholas and Haileigh Porco, Christian and Drew Alfano, Emily Porco, Nathan Paradis, and Cole Zalewski. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Rose Paradis. Dear brother of the late Jeanne (late Florian), late Jean Paul (late Yvette), late Leo (late Therese), late Fern (late Patricia), late Onile, late Tony (Blanche), Loretta (late Dan), late Betty (late Gordon), late Yolande (late Pete), late Peter, and Maryanne (late Jim). Son-in-law of the late Jim and late Alexina Mousseau. Brother-in-law of many. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. 

Friends and family are invited to a public visitation at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Masks and social distancing are mandatory, and the use of sanitizer is appreciated. A private family service will be held. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to Sue for the constant care you’ve shown to Dad over the past four years. Extra Special thank you to Shelley, having you care for Papa in his final days is a beautiful gift that our family will forever be grateful for.
