Obituary of Jerry Richards
On Friday, August 13th, 2021, Jerry passed away peacefully at ARCH Hospice at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Roxanne. Loving father to Bruce (Sarah Lefave) and Andrew. Grandad to Sawyer and Emerson. Predeceased by his parents Cyril (Christine) and Lila. Beloved brother to Lorrie Peterson (late George), Arlie Richards and Marny Whitaker. Brother-in-Law to Michael Hoffman (Rhonda) and Sheena Siemens (Don). Jerry will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by his lifelong friend Rod Caughill (Susan).
A very special thank you to Sheena and Don, our Soo Mill family, Ann, Kelly, Mark, Shelley, Rod and many others for your care and support as well as Dr. Beuhner, the nurses at ARCH, Dr. Spadafora and her nurse Louise, Dr. Mantle, Dr. Kobelka, Mike Jacobson RN, Laura Moss and LHIN.
Cremation has taken place. At Jerry’s request, there will be no funeral services. Memorial donations in Jerry’s memory can be made to ARCH or the Sault Area Hospital Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
