Obituary of Gunter Detert
Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at the age of 84. He is now reunited with his beloved wife Lore. Devoted father of Marina Pagel (Brian), Thomas Detert, and the late Ingo Pagel. Honourary grandpa to Mathieu Beauchesne (Steph). Predeceased by his parents Josef and Margaret Detert. Dear brother of Inge, Herbert, late Josef, Hannelore and Marlies. Gunter will be missed by many in Germany. Gunter will forever be remembered and cherished by his family, friends and all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. Special thank you to the Staff at Mapleview – Ranger Lake and Tunnel Lake for the care shown to Gunter over the years.
