Obituary of Pietro Buonomo

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Pietro at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the age of 89.

Beloved husband and best friend of the late Giuseppina Buonomo. Cherished father of Rosa Ferranti (Elvis), Mena Marshall (Keith), Lucia Kutt (Jim), Angela Mannarino (Enzo), Peter Buonomo (Jamie), the late Angela and Nicola Buonomo. Special Papa of Melissa (late Doug), Julia (Mike), Matthew, Jamie (Cody), Stephanie, Ethan (Ivorie), Kayla (Cole), Corrie, Mickey and Tiffany. Great Papa of 9 and Big Papa of 2.

Predeceased by his parents Felice and Rosa Buonomo. Dear brother of the late Maria DiLollo (late Tony), Nicolina Giaconelli (late Gino), late Donato (Maria), Vincenzo Buonomo (Paola), Giovanni Buonomo (Giovanina) and the late Dolores DiSisto (Joe). Brother-in-law of Sam Cristillo (Diane) and Angela DeRenzis (Joseph). Pietro will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Masks and social distancing are required. The use of hand sanitizer is appreciated. A private funeral service will be held with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
