Obituary of Shirley Hatley

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley on July 11, 2021 at the age of 65. Beloved wife of the late Robert Lechasseur. Cherished mother of Clint (Lisa), Jenny, and Ben (Katrina). Proud Grammie of Cassidy, Alex, Irena and Breanna. Dear sister of Diane (Peter) and Barry. She will be fondly remembered by her nephews and niece, Dustin, Tyler, Lacee and their children. Shirley leaves behind many close friends and her beloved dog, Dora.

We will always remember her welcoming smile and her contagious laugh. She was a beautiful soul who was kind-hearted and generous to all.  Shirley loved spending time with her family, but being a Grammie was something she loved the most.  She enjoyed curling, being outdoors and heading to the gym, she really never could sit still and was always on the go. Christmas was her favourite time of year and she loved to cook and bake, with her specialty being “Shirley bread or buns”.
