Obituary of Edith Sherrard

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Ontario Finnish Resthome, MKK, on Wednesday September 8, 2021, at the age of 90.  Beloved wife of the late George. Cherished mother of Juanita Evans (late Gary), Kathleen Mooney (late Ray), George Jr. (Lauri), Lillian Sherrard, Ina Shaughnessy (Randy), John (Kathy), and Barbara Tauvette (Chris).  Adored grandmother of Tammy, late Edith, Tracy (Rick), Tricia (Julian), Allan (Grace), Anita (Stan), Susan (Daryl), Dan, Henry (Suzanne), Jamie, Kristy (Thomas), and Joshua. Great grandmother of 17. Great great grandmother of 2.

Dear sister of the late Delbert Lesage (Marj), late Ina Dear (late Jim) and the late John Lesage (Marie). Sister-in-law of late Clifford Sherrard, late Ronny Robertson (Donna), late Kenneth, late Harvey, and the late Kathleen. Edith will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Edith was a beautiful person inside and out, with never a complaint. She was a fine old bird right to her last breath. A private family service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral and Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Ontario Finnish Resthome, MKK would be appreciated by the family. The family sends many thanks to the staff and residents of the Ontario Finnish Resthome, MKK for their love and support of our mom.
