Obituary of Marie Antonello

Peacefully at the Ontario Finish Rest Home MKK on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in her 100^th year. She is now reunited in the loving arms of her beloved husband, Bruno. Cherished mother of Rosemarie Frost (late John), Joanne Logan (Bernie), John (Toni), David (Sandy) and Teresa Zuppa (Tony). Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Marie will always be remembered for her strong faith and her love of God, which gave her strength to raise her family and provide for them. She was known for her countless hours of volunteering, her fun-loving spirit and her beautiful smile. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Masks and social distancing are required. The use of hand sanitizer is appreciated. A private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Veronica’s Church with Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Veronica’s Church or the Ontario Finnish Rest Home Association (MKK) would be greatly appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Finnish Rest Home MKK and Kotitalo for their dedication and the compassion shown to mom and her family over the years.
