Obituary of Giuseppe "Joe" Saccucci

With broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Giuseppe, at home surrounded by the love of his family, on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the age of 87. Beloved husband and best friend of Orestina for 62 years. Loving father of Lina Bridge (Chris), Paola Twentyman (Mark), Sandro Saccucci (Donna) and Louisa Malkki (Tom). Proud Nonno of Jessica (Andrew), Brian (Allie), Janette (Brendan), Gregory, Daniel (Phylicia), Tyler, Jenna (Brandon), Thomas (Nadia), Melissa (Evan).  Great grandfather of Christian, Mathew, Logan, Cameron, Willow and Hudson. Son of the late Caterina and Francesco Saccucci. Brother of Angelo Saccucci (Maria) and Luigino Saccucci Junior (Giovanna) and predeceased by Leocatia Campagna (Cesare), Alma Porcari (Giuseppe) and Luigino Saccucci (senior). Son-in-law of the late Pasquale and Giuseppina Battisti.  Brother-in-law of Rinaldo (Pasqualina) Battisti of Italy and Teresa (Alvaro) Robibaro.  Joe will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Dad loved gardening and spent most of his time outdoors during the summer. He loved travelling, hunting, camping and enjoyed storytelling to everyone that came to visit. He was a devoted husband, father and nonno and always put family first. He took pride in everything he did. A private family service has been held with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to ARCH would be greatly appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to the nurses from ParaMed, Dr. Nicole Apostle, Dr. Maione, and Nurse Practitioner Brenda Paat for the care and compassion shown to Giuseppe and his family.
