Obituary of Marc Kuhnow

Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the age of 58. Proud father of Jason (Alexi). Dearly loved son of Margrit and Kurt Kuhnow. Predeceased by his wife Teri (Hawke). Fiancée of Yvette Wilson. Brother of Christina Simpson (Jim). Uncle of Amanda Simpson (Dylan) and George Simpson.

Marc left home at a young age to pursue a career in Chemical Engineering. He spent much of his life in Southern Ontario before returning home to build his dream log home on Lake Superior, where he loved tending to his garden and puttering in his garage. Marc enjoyed socializing with and lending a hand to his neighbours on Havilland Shores and Marlette Bay. He was always in for a good conversation with the people he met. He took good care of his parents and his beloved fur friend, Noble.

A private family service has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and the ICU staff at the SAH. Their compassion was very much appreciated.
