Obituary of Elizabeth Gjos

Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the age of 91. Wife of the late Stan Gjos (1986). Much loved mother of Erik (Lori), Stephen (Shelley) and the late infant Paul. Proud grandmother of Alysha, Meagan, Kate and Emily, all of whom brought her great joy, love and happiness. Daughter of the late Margaret (Malone) and the late Alex Turpin. Sister of the late Barbara Nichols (late Frank), late Bob Turpin (Sandra) and the late Yvonne Smith (Danny). Betty will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Precious Blood Cathedral on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Capacity is limited, if you wish to attend, please call 705-945-7758 before Wednesday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. to reserve your seat. Social distancing and the use of masks is mandatory.  Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
