Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Maple View with her daughter Susan by her side, on January 14, 2022. We take great comfort knowing she is now reunited with her beloved daughter Catherine. Former wife of the late David Leroy Adams, whom she stayed friends for many years and shared two beautiful daughters with. Dear mother of Susan Schikofsky (Michael) and the late Catherine Adams. Loving Nanny of Jacob David and Malaya Catherine Schikofsky.

Special big sister of Patsy Trevisanut  and Sharon Kearns. June will be fondly remembered for her witty sense of humor by many dear nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Martin and Mary Lanigan (nee Caroll) and her siblings Evelyn, Jerry, Patrick, Marjorie, Mike and Dorothy-Ann. Sister of Robert, Patsy, James, and Sharon.

A private family celebration of June’s life and memorial service will take place at a later date where she will be laid to rest with her daughter Cathy.

Memorial donations to the Sault College Plummer Memorial Public Hospital School of Nursing Care and Compassion Award or the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
