Obituary of Dorothy Pearl Belanger
Passed away one week before her 91st birthday on Sunday, February 6, 2022.
People say, “Life is precious” but what does that mean? Our Mom Dorothy’s journey through life has had its challenges. It had joy and sorrow but, on her journey, she has felt and experienced love from her family as she has guided her children Ed (Paula), Ken (Linda), Glenda Whorpole (Ken) and Evelyn Belanger (Dan). Mom is now reunited with her beloved husband Norman Belanger, her mother and sister.
Her heart was full of love for her 11 grandchildren Ryan (Anne-Marie), Tyler (Dawn), Derek (Lisa), Kenny (Sandra), Amanda (Paul), Shannon (Jamie), Ashleigh, Jessica (Tim), Joshua (Paige), Matthew (Aishia), Wesley (Kelsey) and still had room to love her 14 great-grandchildren Blake, Mikaela, Bodin, Logan, Emma, Kenny, Katie, Connor, Ethan, Evan, Chloe, Alicia, Leo, Milo and a little special one due in May.
So maybe it’s not so much “Life is precious” as much as the people in our lives that make it precious.
A private family service will take place. Memorial donations to the F.J. Davey Home Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Our family would like to thank all the angels that work on the Apple Orchard 2 floor at the Davey Home. They took such good care of her when we couldn’t and felt like family to our mom.
Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
