Best friend and beloved husband of Reneé, Cherished father of; Karl Jr. (Sharon), Barbara (Bill) and Sheena. Second dad to Greig Lethbridge (Jasmine), OPA to Chloe, Sydney and Charlie. Grandpa to William, Lee Ann, Easton and Leo James. Predeceased by his parents Bernhardine and Stefan Erhardt. Survived by his sister Monica (Dougald), son-in-law to Tony Guerriero (late Gail). Brother-in-law to Clara (Bob) Robinson. Uncle to Crystal (Gord), April and Melissa. Karl Also leaves behind his sidekick Cooper. Karl loved all his children greatly and he was always a phone call away. He was the rock of the family. He also was a no-nonsense kind of guy and if you treated him right and he liked you he would give you the shirt off his back. He was a proud iron worker who loved his job. We had many conversations over the years of many great people he had the opportunity to work with. He also was a great supporter of the apprenticeship program. After Karl retired, he enjoyed building decks, garages, pretty much anything to keep busy. Even though Karl was born in Montreal he still was a huge Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan who liked football, baseball and the Nascar races. Thank you for your kindness, Susan Erhardt, Shannon and Marty, Melissa and Matt Gibbs. Cheryl and Juri Siitse, thank you for everything and I mean everything you did for us so I could be there 100% for Karl. Sheena and Barbara thank you for helping me with your dad when your help was needed the most. Also thank you to Tori and Jimmy, Rod and Joanne Sonley, Carole Brooks. My sister Clara and everyone I work with at Lyons Timber Mart for all your encouragement, kindness and support. Richard Beal thank you for helping Karl with his struggles. The family is grateful for the care given to Karl by Dr. Michael Hackett, Dr. Spadafora, Dr. Carlson, Dr. Nikki Apostle, Louise, Kerilyn, Mary, Krista, Shane from Medigas, Nancy from Bay Shore, Staff from Ideal Drug Mart, ICare and Sault Medical.
