Obituary of John Patterson

Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the age of 77. Father of Derek (Denise) and Jennifer (Chris). He will be remembered by his grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Irene and Oswald Patterson. John will be fondly remembered by his siblings the late Gary (late Carol), Roxanne Jomphe (late Lucien), George (Marilyn). He will be missed by his nieces, nephews and his many friends at the Legion. John loved a good hamburger and a cold beer. He was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Canadiens fan. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 or the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie would be greatly appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to Connie for being dad’s caregiver and friend for many years. A special thank you to Dr. Bishop and the doctors, nurses and staff on 3B at the Sault Area Hospital for the care and compassion shown to John.
