Peacefully passed away at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the age of 67. Loving mother of Cory (Samantha), Michael (Danielle) and Lori. Grandmother of Logan, Westley, Lilith, Micheala and Penelope. Daughter of June Gagnon (Ray) and the late Don Furlong. Eldest of the Furlong girls, Donna (Yvan), Cindy (Tim), Kim (Bruce) and Shelly (Mark). At Susan’s request, no services will be held. Memorial donations to ARCH or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to Debbie and Norma who helped Mom stay comfortable at home and a special thank you to the staff at ARCH for their care and compassion. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
