Obituary of Miles Terrence Caputo- Morton

It is with broken hearts and unbearable sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful baby boy Miles on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Cherished son of Amanda Caputo and C.J. Morton. Loved grandson of Maria and the late Terry Caputo, Ginger Gamble, and Dave Morton. Nephew of Lisa and Paul McLean.

The family would like to thank all of the healthcare professionals who did their very best to guide us through these sorrowful times. It would be impossible to name everyone whose care made a difference, but we would like to give a special thank you to the following. From Sault Area Hospital, Dr. Babik, Dr. Fam, Dr. Stevenson, and Dr. Webb, and nurses Brittney, Jenna, Joanne, and Melinda; and from London Health Sciences Center, Dr. Chan, Dr. Fang, Dr. Yuen, and Dr. Zhao, and nurses Brittany, Carly, Kristen, and Lily.

We had so many hopes and dreams for our child, and would have given anything to save him. We wanted to bring him home to meet all of his extended family and his “fur brother,” our beloved dog Dewey. Although the opportunity to watch him grow up was taken from us, the opportunity to love him was not, and we find comfort in knowing that he will live on in the hearts of so many. He may have only gotten to live for a short time, but he spent his entire life surrounded by love, being held by his parents, hearing the voices of his grandparents, and we hope he knows how treasured he was and how badly we miss him.
