Obituary of Jacob Cook

It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Jacob on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the age of 28. We take great comfort knowing he is now with our Creator and that his journey has begun as “The Flying Eagle Man”. Beloved son of Jeff and Margaret. Cherished brother of Brad. Special grandson of Grandma Rhonda Cook, Papa Ron Cook, Grandma Rhonda Taillifer, Grandpa Rick Taillifer, Grandpa Terry Devine, and Grandma Heidi Devine. He will be sadly missed by his Uncles the late Steve Cook (Melissa), Jason (Jess), Bryan (Lindsey), Kevin (late Tara) and Aunties Terri Ann (Bert), Dawn, and the late Crystal Marie, and his cousins Davin and Maddison. He will be fondly remembered by his godparents and many other extended family members and friends. Jacob’s cat, Izzy, will forever miss all the cuddles, and so will Meeka, Malakai, and Mylie.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. A special thank you to Dan Cook for helping Jake through his journey over the years.
