Obituary of Luc Corriveau

Please share a memory of Luc to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

With broken hearts, the family of Luc announces his peaceful passing on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH). Cherished husband and friend of Terry-Anne for nearly 42 years. Devoted father of Michelle Neal (Danny) and Stephanie Corriveau (Tyson). Doting Poppa of Mason, Benjamin and his “Princess Margo”. Luc leaves behind a generation of children who will be taught to “look their best, work hard and be good to people”.

As the youngest child of Wilbrod and Flore Corriveau’s 21 children, Luc’s family is too large to list by name. The love and support of our vast extended family has been invaluable during this time. Luc will be remembered by his many friends for his generosity, his desire to help, and his unapparelled ability to fix or build anything. Luc lived by the mantra, "be good to others and they'll be good to you". We lived by the mantra “if Luc can’t fix it, throw it out”.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. The family asks that you hold your loved ones close and spend time together. Raise a glass to life and love, to family and friendship. To Luc. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to ARCH.

A heartfelt thank you to Luc’s coworkers at Canadian Tire for their generosity and support. We are so grateful for the kindness you have shown us.

To the doctors, nurses, and support staff at Sault Area Hospital and Health Sciences North, thank you. The family would like to specifically acknowledge nurses Erin and Chelsey from SAH for their compassion and care.

To the nurses, PSW’s and volunteers at ARCH, thank you for alleviating the difficulty of this painful journey. No words could possibly express the depth of our gratitude.
