Obituary of Linda Carriere

With broken hearts, we regret to announce the peaceful passing of Linda at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the age of 52. Beloved wife and best friend of Robert. Loving mother of Robert Carriere and Shyla Malpass (Adam). Daughter of Edward and Shirley Lalonde. Sister of Suzanne Arcand, Rick Lalonde, Nicole Edwards (Dale) and Edward Lalonde Jr. Linda was adored by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was loved by all who knew her. Linda followed her calling and was a hardworking, caring and compassionate nurse for 20 years. Linda always went above and beyond the call of duty, was always helping others and was an amazing friend and confidant. As a Military wife, she was loyal and devoted to her family and career. She was always looking for an outdoor adventure and enjoyed fishing and camping. Linda loved animals and was a true farm girl at heart. She was the best pet mom, friend, mother and wife. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Marc’s Parish in Markstay, Ontario on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
