Passed away peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the age of 70, after a long battle with cancer. He will be dearly missed by his wife Gail (nee Piazza) of almost 47 years. Loving father of Michael (Shannon) and Trisha. Proud Nono of Gabriel, his little “Super Hero” and the late Michael. Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Gesolina Vit. Dear brother of the late Ivano, Bruno (Judy), Joanne Aiello (Angelo). Son-in-law of the late Armos and Dorothy Piazza. Brother-in-law of Robert Piazza (Rhonda). Renzo was loved and adored by his many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory. He will be fondly remembered by his best friends Rony Sartor and Alfie Slobodecki. Renzo was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a caring and thoughtful person and helping his neighbours and friends was one of his normal days. One of his pleasures was cooking for his family, at which he excelled.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to ARCH would be greatly appreciated by the family. A sincere thank you to Dr. Rassouli and all the staff at the Cancer Clinic. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Apostle and the staff at ARCH for their care and compassion. A special thank you to Bayshore and CBI Home Care teams for the care given to Renzo.
