Obituary of Annette Thelland

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Annette on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Loving wife of the late Neil. Proud mother of her only child, Rachelle. Cherished Mémère of Danielle and Lindsey. Born on June 21, 1932 in Timmins, Ontario, she was the youngest of six. She was the daughter of her departed parents Alexina and James Mousseau. She had survived her siblings and their spouses: Omer (Thérèse), Pete (Yvette), Léo (Thérèse), Émile (Léona) and Rita (Art). She will be fondly remembered by her special nieces Susan Campbell and Paulette Porco as well as her “adopted” daughter Bea Lambert. Annette will also be missed by several other nieces and nephews. She was a special cousin of Ray Mousseau (Margo) and the late Alice Mousseau and the dear friend of Cathy Chartrand and Patsy Eaton. Daughter-in-law of the late Salomé and Henri Thelland and sister-in-law to their children, who are all predeceased.

As per Annette’s wishes, a private graveside will be held at a later date. Please honour Anne’s life with a donation to the charity of your choice. A special thank you to Dr. D. MacIntosh and nurse at the Sault Area Hospital ER, Dr. K. Taylor and staff at the Group Health Centre, Dr. M. Kendall and nurse at the Group Health Centre as well as Dr. H.
